With over twenty five years of experience in the space and aerospace industry, Paul has led the start up and successful development of a number of innovative programmes including TopSat and the Zephyr HALE UAV and was a director of Surrey Satellite Technology Limited prior to starting Prismatic. With a broad technical and business background Paul specialises in the business management and remote sensing applications of HALE UAV and satellites.
With an outstanding track record for leading the design, development and completion of complex space and aerospace projects, Jonathan has delivered a wide range of demanding programmes including MWIR, Mars Melacom and the World record breaking Zephyr 7 UAV and specialises in project delivery, risk management, communications, power and radar systems. Most recently Jonathan led the Zephyr HALE UAV team in QinetiQ before leaving to join Prismatic and continue the engineering leadership of this programme.
Combining an excellent academic capability with real world experience in aircraft, satellites and astronomy, Darryl provides the necessary link between novel concepts and practical implementation. The original systems engineer for the Zephyr HALE UAV in QinetiQ and one of the founders of that World record breaking team, Darryl returns from a broad and successful career in teaching, engineering and astronomy to lead Prismatic’s development of HALE UAV.
Mike is Commercial Director for Prismatic Ltd. With over 30 years of experience in retail, commercial and high technology business, Mike was also the person to fund and mentor the original Zephyr incubator programme in QinetiQ in his role as Director of Ventures.
Caroline has worked in the aerospace industry for over 25 years in senior management roles for Surrey Satellite Technology Limited and QinetiQ. Previously Programme Director for the Zephyr HALE UAV at QinetiQ, Caroline has also enabled the concurrent development and delivery of innovative satellite projects including NovaSAR, TopSAT, DMC-3 TripleSat and GNSS (including Galileo).
With over thirty years of project management and leadership experience in defence and the space and aerospace industry, David joins us having recently delivered the record breaking Zephyr S project and flight trial. Following a successful career in the British Army, David has augmented his leadership skills with a wide range of project management tools to allow him to deliver complex projects to time, cost and quality.
Christine manages the day to day operations of Prismatic as well as providing administrative support to our customers. Whatever you need, whenever you need it, Christine will find a way.
With a broad background in aerospace and automotive engineering and a strong personal background in UAS design, build and operation, Piers lead the development, delivery and test of our ultra-light composite structures.
Joining us with 15 years experience in digital and analogue design and implementation, Mark takes on the lead for our avionics systems.
Rejoining Prismatic after an internship in 2017 and having successfully completed his Masters own Aerospace Engineering, Alex takes on the role of ensuring airworthiness and flight approvals for out UAV programmes.
With a Masters in Aerospace Engineering and organisational skills developed through his cadet service, Harshill is responsible for integrating the ground systems for our UAV programmes.
Joe joins us to lead the high efficiency propulsion system required for sustained high altitude flight.
Conor joins us to take on the detailed design and build of our critical composite structures.
A recent graduate from Bath University with a Masters in Integrated Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and also a keen Aero-modeller and Paramotorist, Edward leads the energy storage and management activity, critical to the continued overnight flight of PHASA-35
After completing an MEng in Engineering Management at Ulster University in 2017, Richard is the first of the engineers to be seconded from BAE to Prismatic to learn from their product delivery approach and help BAE transition from prototype to future productionisation.
Robert joins us as a graduate engineer to take the lead on the power generation system.
Gregg joins us to lead the delivery of the senses and actuators and provide the PHASE-8 low level testing for PHASA-35 systems.
Having completed a four year apprenticeship in 2017 in electronic engineering, Dan now joins Prismatic to work on the design, build and test of our electronics systems.
Following graduation from his Mechanical Engineering degree, Nick completed the graduate programme at QinetiQ and has joined Prismatic to tackle the mechanical design of our critical structures.
John joins us to support the team with his wide range of practical skills and keep our facility in shape.
Kim has joined Prismatic having previously been responsible for the flight and test software on a number of High Altitude, Long Endurance UAVs following a successful period of developing Earth observation applications.
Tom joins us on Prismatic's Graduate intern scheme, supporting our CTO to maintain the mass and performance budgets through the build and test phase.
Michael joins us on Prismatic's graduate intern scheme to support the mechanical design and test of the integrated avionics and power suite.
Elysia joins us as part of Prismatic's Graduate intern scheme to deliver the flight control for PHASA-35.
Joining us in her second year of an Aerospace Engineering apprenticeship, Khadijah supports the energy storage and power generation activities critical to the overnight flight
