Job Title – Mission Crew Training Lead
We are currently looking for a Mission Crew Training Lead to join Prismatic Ltd. based in Alton.
Tasks and Accountabilities
The Mission Crew Training Lead is responsible for managing, coordinating, designing, and delivering all training activities for mission crew members within the Flight Operations team. This role ensures that all mission crew members are adequately trained, current and competent for all prismatic flying activities, maintaining extremely high standards of performance and safety. Additionally, the individual will serve as an RPAS Commander within the mission Crew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Management: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for mission crew members, including initial, recurrent, and specialised training.
- Coordination: Schedule and coordinate training sessions, ensuring all crew members complete required training within specified timeframes.
- Instruction: Conduct training sessions, both theoretical and practical, to ensure crew members are proficient in their roles.
- Evaluation: Assess the performance of crew members during training and provide feedback to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all training activities and certifications for each crew member.
- Compliance: Ensure all training programs comply with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update training materials and methods to incorporate the latest industry practices and technologies.
- Complete individual training stream to train as an RPAS Commander.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar training role, preferably within the aviation or defence sectors.
- Experience: Previous experience as an Aircraft / RPAS commander preferably within the aviation or defence sectors.
- Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and instructional skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in training and development, and any specific certifications required for the mission crew roles.

- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team of trainees.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in planning and executing training programs.
- Adaptability: Flexible and able to adjust training methods to meet the needs of different learners.

Principal Terms and Conditions
- Start – ASAP.
- Location – Alton, Hampshire, UK.
- Post – Permanent.
- Working time 37.5 hrs per week.
- Salary – to be agreed depending on experience.
- Pension – 10% contribution from the company included plus a Salary Exchange for AVCs.
- Leave – 25 days plus bank holidays.
